The Society for the Study of the Past is a new subject organisation for all those who have been let down by existing associations.
Since October 7th 2023, historians of all periods have been calling on their subject organisations to take a stand against the historicide that is part of Israel’s genocide against the Palestinians. They have not been listened to. The Society for the Study of the Past was established to offer a different approach.
